United Visual’s dedicated in-house service department offers clients a comprehensive single-source solution for service and maintenance on all audio visual systems and equipment.

United Visual was established in 1949 as an authorized repair service center for audio visual products.  Today United Visual's core business is the integration of visual communication and technology systems, but a solid service organization remains the foundation of the company and has been the key to United Visual’s longevity in the AV industry.  Most importantly, this commitment to excellence in service is a key to the success and satisfaction of the customers we serve.

Manufacturer warranties are very important considerations when selecting the equipment that will make up the infrastructure of your technology solutions, however most do not make allowances for on-site technicians who know your system inside and out.  United Visual offers a number of different options for preventive maintenance agreements, extended warranties and service contracts all designed to protect technology investments, minimize system downtime, add on-going value and address the evolving needs of our clients.  See the Service Agreements section of our site for more detail.

United Visual’s service department also offers both field service and depot service on many types of multimedia, audio visual and video equipment, including professional VCRs, camcorders, audio systems, video projection and presentation products.  Each year during the summer months, as an added value to our educational customers, United Visual offers special discounted pricing on preventive maintenance as part of the United Visual Summer Maintenance Program.  As one of the largest LCD projector dealers in the area, we have technicians fully trained in current LCD & DLP technology projection system repairs.  We are also able to offer field service on any size electric screen for your conference room, classroom or auditorium.

Warranty Service

Warranty service, on most products, is done by our own factory trained personnel at our facility, providing quicker turnaround than the manufacturer offers.  Up to date service information is at our disposal from regularly updated in-house computer databases, an extensive library of service literature, as well as via direct computer links to major manufacturers such as Sony, Sharp and Panasonic.  We consistently update our knowledge and test equipment to maintain Authorized Service Center status with the leaders in the industry.
