One of several computer training
rooms in the Galvin Center. Note the instructor's station to the left
of the projection screen, the Panasonic LCD projector mounted on the
ceiling and the speakers and subwoofer from the surround sound system.
United Visual
recommended Panasonic projectors at Motorola because of their brightness
and especially their network connectivity. Each projector resides on
the Galvin Center LAN and can be accessed easily by the WebLinx software
for control and diagnostic purposes. For example, a technician at a
remote workstation can tell if the projector is on or off, what source
it is projecting, and how many hours the lamp has been used.
